I began my photographic journey through portraiture, which later led me to a very different project: Clorofilla.

Clorofilla is an artistic project using infrared photography to explore the boundary between the visible and invisible. While focusing on subjects such as trees, the approach is portrait-like rather than landscape-oriented: each subject becomes a protagonist, carrying symbolic and psychological significance.

Through infrared technology and refined color processing, the project reveals a parallel reality that exists beyond human perception, always present, yet unseen. This hidden spectrum becomes a metaphor for the limits of knowledge itself: we believe we see the world, but our vision captures only a fraction of what exists.

Through an essential visual language and a composition that favors synthesis and subtraction, recalling elements of graphic arts, Clorofilla questions the certainty of perception, showing how reality shifts depending on the tools we use to observe it, challenging the illusion that what we see is all there is to know.
