A motionless tree, luminous leaves trembling in the wind. The sky behind is unstable, almost incandescent—infrared transforms the atmosphere into something between fire and storm.

Yet the tree remains still. It does not react, does not bend. It simply holds.

The work captures this suspension: everything around demands response, movement, reaction. And at the center, stillness. Not the silence that suppresses, but the one that absorbs without collapsing.
