Dave Tavanti (b. 1974, Perugia, Italy) is a visual artist working with infrared photography.\n

\nHis practice investigates the relationship between visible reality and invisible dimensions through alternative photographic processes.\n

\nBuilding on a visual sensibility developed through portraiture, his work is further informed by a background in cinematography and color grading.\n

\nClorofilla has received 2nd place at the IPA – International Photography Awards 2025 (Fine Art \/ Other) and an Honorable Mention at the Tokyo International Foto Awards (TIFA) 2025.\n

\nHis work has been published in the print edition of Tutti Fotografi, Italy’s historic photography magazine, and presented in solo and group exhibitions including The Glasgow Gallery of Photography (2026), Villa Contemporanea Monza, and DAK’ART OFF Milano.\n
